Winter Weather Advisory

In anticipation of freezing weather and potential snow next week creating unsafe conditions, the Port will enact its Freeze Plan. We anticipate shutting down water flow to our terminals beginning Sunday morning and expect to return water flow on Wednesday afternoon.

Both Ports America and New Orleans Terminal will be updating their customer portals (links below), so trucking companies are advised to closely monitor these bulletins for terminal updates. Both Ports America and New Orleans Terminal have advised they will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.

The Port NOLA emergency preparedness team will continue to monitor the weather and we will send updates as we know more about impacts to the status of terminal operations.
