Here is the latest update regarding the impacts of Hurricane Ida on our operations. Thanks to all of you who have been touching base with us over the last few days. We all appreciate your support and your kind thoughts and prayers. Together, we will work through these challenges.
KCO - Operational Status Report:
Entergy (local power utility) is reporting that they expect the New Orleans Metro to have power restored by Wednesday, September 8th. We are hopeful that we can have full scale operations next week once power is fully restored. As of now, we will restart our operation on Tuesday, September 7th at 07:30 for shipping and receiving. Our daily hours will be normal schedule (07:30-16:30); first come first serve. We will also startup our drayage operations on Tuesday, September 7th with limited operations based on the terminal operator restrictions below.
Port of New Orleans - Terminal Operations:
The Port of New Orleans Container Terminals remained CLOSED today.

New Orleans Terminal open a limited gate on TUESDAY, September 7th.
Ports America open a limited gate on TUESDAY, September 7th.
Delivery (Outage) import full delivery
Receiving (Ingate) clean & dry empty containers
Receiving (Ingate) bare chassis
Restrictions: No export full delivery (includes reefer and hazardous) until vessel schedules are updated and SS Line provide specific ERD details.

Gulf Stream Marine - OPEN
Ports America (breakbulk only) - OPEN
Empire CLOSED with plans to open Tuesday, September 7th.
Port of New Orleans - Vessel Operations:
The river is currently open from the Sea-Buoy to Mile 105 and then from 167.5 to Mile 303. Deep draft vessels are limited to daylight only transits at this time. The river remains closed from Mile 105- Mile 108 due to the transmission lines.
Port of New Orleans - Rail Operations:
NOPB has RESUMED all rail operations with modified hours of operation between 7:00 am - 4:00 pm to connect with BNSF, CN, CSX, KCS, NS and UP. We expect to receive a switch over the weekend.
