IMPORT CUSTOMS BROKERAGE SERVICES

The Kearney Companies, Inc offers comprehensive Import Customs Brokerage Services. We provide efficient handling of import ocean and airfreight consignments through cost-effective methods that are well supported by our experienced staff. Our brokers assist customers with proper classification of all merchandise, preparation of detailed documents and submission of all documents to U.S. Customs and other government agencies as required.

All entries are processed via Customs Automated Broker Interface (ABI) system. This electronic system provides for the quickest, most efficient means to process Customs information and is enhanced by a dedicated leased-line providing direct access to US Customs headquarters in Washington, D.C. We also participate in Customs Automated Manifest System (AMS) in order to obtain electronic release of air and sea shipments. KCO is also approved for Remote Location Filing (RLF) in various ports of entry whch ensures timely filing and release of shipments.

KCO brokers are fully accountable and empowered to take action in response to requirements and issues that arise during the import process. In the event a problem should arise, they will aggressively evaluate the issues to identify proactive solutions for our clients. The company has been fully C-TPAT Certified by US Customs as of February 2003
